Christian Dior Ready-to-Wear F/W 20

The Christian Dior show opened with a tailored pantsuit, Chiuri went the extra mile creating the Dior most informal and relaxed collection , an elevation of the casual.

“When women strike the world stops.” Chiuri said, as always the designers used her runaway to support her ideas about humanity and deliver messages to empower women.

In a sort of homage, on the runway today there were logo puffers, denim jackets and jeans, jumpsuits in cotton or leather, fishnets and combat boots. The season’s message tee read, “I Say I,” a phrase lifted from the Italian critic and activist Carla Lonzi that is more or less the 1970s equivalent of the millennial “you do you.” In this collection as always, Maria Grazia focused on featuring the attitude and character of the women wearing the clothes.

Through feminism I freed myself from the inferiority-culpability of being clitoridian … and I accused men of everything. Then I started to doubt myself and to defend myself through every possible thought and inquiry into the past. Then I doubted myself completely in rivers of tears … After that I was no longer innocent or guilty.

Céline Ready-to-Wear F/W 20

The Céline Fall/Winter 20/21 is a romantic collection with a strong flair for independent, free and strong women. The new proportions and the dominance of smooth velvet are at the foundation of the collection for this season, it is an evolution of the Celine wardrobe.

The collection is unisex and be worn by both men and women, including the bags. Even, male models were wearing silk blouse. This season Celine collaborated with Fondation Cezar to create a limited Edition Jewellery line of 100 Vermeil and 100 Silver pieces. each piece is presented in an artisanal pine box hot stamped with the designer signature.

EACH PIECE IS SUPPOSED TO BE HELD AND RENDERED PERSONAL BY ITS EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL WEIGHT. THROUGH THIS TACTILE
MANIPULATION, IT BECOMES A TALISMAN OF STRENGTH AND REASSURANCE, REGARDLESS OF GENDER.
THIS SPIRIT IS REFLECTED IN THE ORIGINAL CELINE WOMAN, WHOSE SILHOUETTE AND ATTITUDE STEMMED FROM PARIS IN THE 1970S.
BOTH CELINE AND CÉSAR’S STORIES PAY HOMAGE TO THE MEMORY AND THE FAMILIARITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL.

LES CRISTAUX CELINE

Celine Jewellery line is build around the unique characteristics of each stone, crystal tiger’s eye, amethyst, smoky quartz …

Hedi Slimane chose each stone for their symbolic meaning and historical and cultural signification. Each piece is unique and reflect the spirit and energy of the Celine women.

Fendi Spring/Summer 2020

“You think of the practicality of things,” said Venturini Fendi. “I want women to feel natural and good in these clothes.”

Is it just me or everyone agree that Fendi SS20 collection is the best so far. Loved every piece, every look and every accessory.

This collection was the first after Lagerfeld, it was comfortable and featured double faced jackets, floral print, robe-jackets, wrap dresses, trenches and big size bags and not a single high heel in the show.
